Why did you choose Gustavus?
Everyone here seemed to really care that I was enjoying myself and my experience here.
Life at Gustavus
Playing football for the Gusties. Outside of football and school, a few friends and I volunteer in town by coaching youth football teams.
What has been your favorite academic experience?
The Pow-Wow in Mankato. I’m part Native American and had a blast going with classmates who had never been to one before.
What is your favorite food in the Market Place?
I always make sure to wash every meal down with the Pass-O-Guava juice. It’s by far the tastiest and least popular of all the juices.
What is your dream job?
To teach at a high school with enthusiastic teachers who love their jobs and kids who want to learn.
What advice would you give a prospective Gustie?
Come to Gustavus, sit in the lunch room and have a conversation with any student here and you’ll be sold. I haven’t heard one person yet who has even thought about transferring elsewhere.
What is your favorite Gustavus tradition?
Homecoming!
