Gustavus Adolphus College

I attended a secondary school with 5000 girls and have to say that it was definitely a learning experience. Spending six years with the same graduating class can be great and annoying but all the same, it was one I enjoyed.

I applied to Gustavus because my cousin was here. I also chose the campus because of the small student to professor ratio as I had gone to a secondary school with a population of 5000 students. Finally, I chose Gustavus because it had a great communications program as that was my initial area of interest.

I am currently involved with the GAC TV, the Gustavus Ambassadors, and the Pan Afrikan Student Organization. I hope to be involved with the German club and African Medical Club. Depending on the week, GAC TV might take up the most time if I am reporting a story, otherwise, it is distributed equally.

I enjoyed Organizational Behavior with Kathy Tunheim as she used real life experiences and did not just make us read the textbook and try to master the terms in it.

Well, although I have had this once, it probably will be the sweet potatoes. I also enjoy the gyros on Fridays.

I usually e-mail them or visit them during their office hours.

Something that will have to do with design. I know this is vague but I don’t want to be too specific, it could be interior design or fashion design, who knows?

They should start looking at schools early. I didn’t because I was not particularly interested in the process. I knew where I was going to go but I hated the long application process. If they have an opportunity to visit the school too, then they should.

I enjoy watching the Gustavus team play hockey. Since we do not have it in Nigeria, I only started watching it when I came here.
