Life before Gustavus
I was the captain of the swim team. I was an avid biker and moped enthusiast. I love art, specifically pen and ink drawing.
Why did you choose Gustavus?
I loved the small campus, and the feel of the campus. I wanted to be part of a community of students.
Life at Gustavus
I’m trying to get involved with the Gustie greeters and with a couple of other leadership organizations.
What has been your favorite academic experience?
Nobel conference was one of the most stimulating events I have ever been to.
What is your favorite food in the Market Place?
My favorite food is a toasted hoagie. It has a wheat bun and it filled with roast beef and I make a trip to the toaster. After two minutes I run over to the salad bar and I fill it up with all the veggies.
How do you interact with your professors outside the classroom?
None yet. I would love to have dinner with some of my professors.
What is your dream job?
I would love to get involved with the green movement and do research to solve our global environmental problem.
What advice would you give a prospective Gustie?
Don’t overload yourself first semester, leave room for error.
What is your favorite Gustavus tradition?
I love playing Chase in Coed with the upperclassmen.
