Q:
What are the differences between a public and private education?
-
A:
While many differences are perceived (how the campus "feels"), most differences can be drawn out in the statistics. Generally, private schools offer smaller class sizes, greater access to professors and resources, higher residency rates and community interaction, and merit-based financial aid. There are, of course, many excellent public schools, so students should consider what features are important to them in finding the best fit.
