  • Q:   What is the college's alcohol and tobacco policy?
  • A:   Gustavus policy states that any student of legal age to possess and consume alcohol may do so within the confines of their own residence hall room. Any student who is found to be in possession of alcohol who is not of legal drinking age is subject to discipline through the campus Judicial Board. At Gustavus, we strive to treat our students as adults, allowing them to make responsible, informed decisions. All public facilities at Gustavus, including residence hall corridors and rooms, are designated "tobacco-free."
