Whether you will be involved in the college search process right from the start or plan to be “supportively hands-off,” we hope you will talk with your son or daughter about all their college options.
What does your child need? What are your expectations? While the college choice is ultimately the student’s, parents are an integral part of the decision.

MAJORS
With 71 majors and 15 pre-professional programs at Gustavus, your child can follow their passion—or discover new ones.
OUTCOMES
Within six months of graduation an average of 97% of recent Gustavus grads are situated—in grad school, a job, or another experience (like Peace Corps or intentionally traveling). Explore our alumni accomplishments and the career center resources to get there.
FINANCIAL AID
Gustavus scholarships range from $500 to $24,500 and need-based aid can cover the balance of costs depending on your family’s financial situation. You can estimate your family’s financial need.
