Admitted students have until May 1 to accept Gustavus' offer of admission. Financial aid, housing, and class registration are guaranteed until this date, but housing and class registration priority are determined by your deposit date.
Students wishing to attend Gustavus should send a $300 non-refundable deposit as soon as they are certain Gustavus is the right college for them. If a student has chosen another college, they should still notify the Gustavus Admission Office.
No response card is needed to submit the deposit, although a "deposit ticket" will be included in the admission packet and financial assistance packet. Be sure the student's name is listed on the check's Memo line. Please make the check payable to Gustavus Adolphus College.
Receipt of the deposit signals a student's intention to enroll at Gustavus and preparations will begin for the student's arrival. Late spring and summertime mailings will be sent about housing, registration, and other enrollment information.
